Tragedy; Two Yidden Lose Lives in Horrific Mountaindale Accident: Levaye in Kiryas Yoel

It is with unbelievable sadness that we report on the horrific tragedy that occurred on Thursday evening in Mountaindale, where two yidden passed away r”l after their vehicle rolled over and burst into flames, trapping them inside.

R’ Yisroel Shulem Oshri from Belz and R’ Mendy Weinberger from Satmar, z”l, sadly passed away leaving behind families and a community in mourning.

The accident occurred shortly after 10pm, when their vehicle overturned on Church Road, and fell into an embankment. The vehicle burst into flames, trapping the two occupants r”l. Hatzalah and Fire personnel rushed to the scene, but sadly by the time the fire was extinguished, the two had passed away.

The Levaye of R’ Yisroel Shulem Oshri will take place at 10am at the Belz Shul 1350-39th St, followed by a Levaye at Belz in Monsey 12 Maple Terrace. Kevurah will be in the Belz Chelka at Har Shalom in Airmont.

The Levaye of R' Mendy Weinberger will take place at 11:30am in the Beis Hachaim in Kiryas Yoel.
